2 Week Travel Itinerary for Thailand if you have Kids with you

So, there is a great Two Week itinerary for Thailand at this link, but it doesn't necessarily take into account if you are traveling with children. To aid in your quest for a great vacation, here is an alternative two week itinerary if you're traveling to Thailand with kids.

From Reddit user Adventure_Lover---
I don't know. What do you want to see? Here's one example (good for families/ children older then 8?):
Day 1: Arrive in BKK early afternoon. Go to Lumpini park. Walk around, rent a boat on the lake, paddle around, eat street food, sleep.
Day 2: Touristy things tin Bangkok. Grand Palace and China Town.
Day 3: Dusit Zoo. It's a decent zoo. I like it. I learned things from it, and I think children will like it too. After the zoo, take a taxi to Siam Paragon, they have a place to see Penguins. If they get board, there's Ice Skating next door at Central World.
Day 4: Kanchanburi. Rent a car from the airport (relax, driving in Bangkok isn't too bad). You'll have to go through Nakhom Pathom to get to Kanchanburi, so stop at the Don Wai and Lam Phaya floating markets for lots of yummy Thai sweets and other things. If you arrive early enough in Kanchanburi, you should have time to check out the war cemetery and museums, and walk through the old town area.
Day 5: Erawan Waterfall. It's a series of waterfalls with beautiful green ponds. If they get bored, I suggest checking out Hell Fire Pass as well.
Day 6: Elephant World in Kanchanburi. It's Elephants. What more can I say? Good for children as well.
Day 7: If children like animals, I suggest going to Ratchaburi (next to Kanchanburi) and going to Alpaca Hills. It's a huge, big, petting zoo with Alpacas, bunny rabbits, turtles, and other lovely pettable things.
Day 8: Hua Hin. This is a lovely beach town, about 3 hours away from Ratchaburi. There's the Piearn Wan Shopping Village, the night market, and Cicida market. There's also For Art's Sake, which is fun. Oh, don't forget to have lunch at the Cha-am view restaurant on the way to Hua Hin. Wonderful seafood overlooking the restaurant.
Day 9. Ao Manao. This is about 2 hours south of Hua Hin, with pink sandy beaches, beautiful clear water, and green pine trees. The waves are calm, and the water is shallow, perfect for children. Ao Manao is also where the Japanese landed. Unlike most beaches, this is ran by the military, so there's not going to be any scammers, or beggars. Banana boats exist, as well as Snorkeling, seeing the wild monkeys, and walking up Lom Muak hill. They also have a 9 hole golf course, so if the husband wants to get away, he can. I also see ATVs for rent as well.
Day 10: More Beaches/ Swimming. You'll want to start heading back to Bangkok, so you'll be heading back towards Hua Hin. I suggest checking out Khao Takiab for more swimming, horseback ridding, banana boats, and jet skis.
Day 11: If the children are up for a lovely (but slightly challenging) jungle trek, I suggest visiting Phrayra Nakhon Cave. It's a beautiful, exotic, limestone cave that takes about an hour hike. After seeing the cave, Laem Sala beach to swim.
Day 12: Monkey Hill/ Bangkok. The vacation, sadly, is almost over. Before going to Bangkok, check out Monkey Hill, for a lovely view. Also, in Cha-am, there is a chain of Thai Custard shops, selling Thai custard, and other OTOP goods. After you arrive back in Bangkok, return the car, you won't need it anymore. Depending on how late you get back, there might not be enough time to do anything family friendly, besides just walk around.
Day 13: Shopping! There's JJ Market, a very large market that has everything on the outskirts of Bangkok. If you still want to shop, head back to the downtown area and check out MBK/Siam Paragon/ Central World/ Gaysons/ Central Embassy. MBK is known for the knock-off/ standard touristy things, Siam Paragon is known for things you will never buy (Bentleys? Rolodex?). Central World is your standard mall. Don't forget, you do qualify for a 7% VAT refund at the airport.
Day 14: Leave :( I suggest getting to the airport about 4 hours before the flight leaves, so you can get your VAT paperwork done and go through security.
